2006 BASS Federation Top-Six - The Bryan Bass Club 2006 Top-Six point competition for their BASS Federation series started with a trip to Sam Rayburn in January and continued through the year. The final top six member standings during 2006 after dropping points for three lowest tournaments are:

The Texas B.A.S.S. Federation South East Region site also has standings for members that are fishing that "regional" tournament trail. The Texas B.A.S.S. Federation 2006 "state" tournament will be in he spring of that year at Lake Amistad. These top six members represent our club. Now, however, any federation members can simply join together to form their own independent teams and pay to enter the annual state tournament where winning may move them into the next level of B.A.S.S. Federation competition between states.
2005 Honey Hole BCA Top-Six -- Participation in any Honey Hole BCA series are unknown at the close of 2004 when the magazine operation was suspended and placed for sale. Further plans for club participation are contingent on new publishers.

Now, however, any federation members can simply join together to form their own independent teams and pay to enter the annual state tournament where winning may move them into the next level of B.A.S.S. Federation competition between states.
2004 Honey Hole BCA Top-Six -- The Bryan Bass Club 2004 Top-Six point competition for their Honey Hole BCA series (July to June) started in the summer of 2003 at Lake Richland Chambers and ended June, 2004, at Sam Rayburn. The final top six members for 2004 after dropping points for three lowest tournaments are:

The 2004 Honey Hole BCA top-six tournament was in the fall of 2004 on October 27-30 at Richland Chambers. The Bryan Bass Club finished in second place for the 2004 state top-six championship. The prestigious BCA championship permits several hundred top-6 club members to fish together as three two-person teams representing their club. Club coordination and teamwork are critical to this best-of-the-best club competition. Unfortunately, the magazine was placed up for sale after the top-six.

The 2003 Honey Hole BCA top-six tournament was at Lake Amistad on October 22-25, 2003. The Bryan Bass Club top-six team finished in forth place. Over the years, the prestigious BCA championship permited up to five-hundred top-6 club members to fish together as three two-person teams representing each club. This championship is a club, not individual, competition. Club coordination and teamwork are critical to this best-of-the-best club competition. Federation series (January to December, 2002) started on January 19 with a warm winter trip to Falcon Lake way down in south west Texas. Alternates for 2002 in order of finish are Jack Gressett, Clyde Wilkerson and Ray Rippstein. The top-six members represented the club at the 2002 Honey Hole BCA Top-Six Championship tournament held October 26-27, 2002 at Sam Rayburn. The Bryan Bass Club team finished in eighth place with 55.03 lbs, only 11.76 lbs behind the first place team. The six boys reported lots of rain on both days of the competition.
The prestigious 2002 BCA championship pulled together over five-hundred club members to fish together as three two-person teams representing 86 participating bass clubs. Club coordination and teamwork are critical to this best-of-the-best club competition. Honey Hole is now famous for their well-run "Texas size" top-six championships, although they admitted drenching weather, a lost check book and other adventures made this year's event a series of challenges they'll never forget.
