Top-Six Concept

The Bryan Bass Club develops a top-six team during a year, using a point system for tournament place and club service. Top-six point accumulations to qualify for the team run from January to December.

Plus, there's more to the club's unique top-six strategies... The "points before drop-3" standings can be misleading because only nine of the twelve tournaments will be counted. Someone who's missed three tournaments but placed well in nine others can jump to the top at the end.

The drop effect and the point system keep active members close right up to the last tournament.

Standings for 2010 Top-Six Series

2010 Annual Top-Six - The Bryan Bass Club 2010 Top-Six point competition started with a trip to Sam Rayburn in January and continues through the year until December. The ongoing top-six member standings during 2010 before dropping points for three lowest tournaments are:

Detailed annual club standings supplied each month by tournament director Clyde Wilkerson:
a) a browser viewable/printable Acrobat conversion of standings (pdf file), incomplete or
b) tournament director's complete original Excel wookbook (xls file) incomplete that requires you have Excel on your computer.
Mikel also attempts to illustrate an evolving "drop" effect. This may help members visualize their potential point-drops as the end of a year approaches.

The Texas B.A.S.S. Federation Nation South East Region site also has standings for members that are fishing that "regional" tournament trail. The Texas B.A.S.S. Federation Nation 2009 "state" tournament will be in he spring of that year. The final top six members represent our club.

2009 Annual Top-Six - The Bryan Bass Club 2009 Top-Six point competition started with a trip to Toledo Bend in January and continues through the year until December. The final top six member standings during 2009 after dropping points for three lowest tournaments are:
